The Chapel is an intimate, timeless and elegant space with large leaded windows and a stunning timber roof.  It is the perfect backdrop for those dream ceremony photos. You can dress the space as you wish (within our guidelines that protect the historic fabric of the building). At the present time the chapel is not suitable for wedding receptions.

Becket’s Chapel is not currently a registered wedding venue, which is why couples choose it for celebrant-hosted wedding and civil partnership ceremonies or vow renewals.

It can seat up to 100 people and in colder weather three unique heating and lighting chandeliers provide instant heat and a warm atmosphere.

Becket's Chapel is available to hire between November and April up to the end of 2026. It may be available at other times of year with sufficient advance notice.

The minimum hire period is 3 hours, providing ample time for guests to arrive, the ceremony, photographs, and celebratory drinks afterwards.
